Some moments stay with you long after the camera is packed away. Earlier in October was one of those times — filled with family, emotion, and memories we’ll hold close.
Our oldest son came home for a couple of weeks with his fiancée, and having them here was such a gift. We spent time catching up, sharing meals, and enjoying the simple things that matter most.
While they were home, we arranged a family shoot — something that meant a lot as one of our loved ones faces declining health. Those photos are now a precious reminder of togetherness, love, and time we’ll always treasure.
Later during their visit, we celebrated their engagement surrounded by family and friends. It was relaxed, full of warmth, laughter, and genuine happiness — the perfect way to mark such a special chapter in their lives.
Looking back, October reminded me why I love photography — it’s about connection, emotion, and holding onto the moments that matter most.
